Wrecking Ball emoji rules in favor say aye instructional support Levy hearing do we have anything you want to say this is the time by Cyndi Wang order hearing on proposed resolution to continued participation in the instructional Support Program I would declare that you ain't the news there's so many things going on and it's just hard for me to capture it by my start off with the homecoming activities cuz that's what we talked about level up our homecoming and have it be a celebration of our tradition and where we're going and certainly they were on the mark with that wreck it was the spirit night was one of the most that I've seen but I've always wanted my third one but I've also heard it was fabulous the parade was phenomenal so I have a shout-out down below to hear who is the sponsor for the for the students for board members that worked on that Community people that volunteered is really really important to celebrate who we are and where we where we want to go in the tradition of being a Mustang and I think sometimes it's easy to stop those off and check his office just something for the kids but it's really not graduated from here and it's a really important celebrate our tradition of being Mustang we receive that share this with you in your Friday update high school we are one of 207 school that did not have any reports of sportsmanship issues throughout the year so I have the letter if you haven't had a chance to open it up and look at it if you want and I will tell you got a lot of stuff pushed out to us we really are watching because it's so difficult to find referees and umpires swordsmanship is something they are really asking. Vermeer every year it goes to the high school so this is the letter that they ran to the ahr high school thousand dollars I have I have not heard from Kristen yet where this is going to go this year but if she bought for this meeting we can ask her but this is the letter also that I sent out to you employee shout out we are getting hit right now so in all of our buildings I had a couple people they're going to talk about the elementary parent teacher organization and instead of me trying to put it in summarize it in your notes I just decided they would be better to prevent this then that means you're welcome Samantha how do you say your last name I am a parent to three kids and two of them in the last few years been involved in the Monroe Elementary this last year I was the vice president and what we'll do it today I'm still Eliezer I am the current co-president I was by present we're about half the year last year I freaking the district 2nd grader into kindergarteners do summary of Snowden said it happened I was paid through the summer as we all watch the progression of the vision team and the results of that came for school over the summer there was a lot of conversation in question from parents and teachers of what does it look like for a ptas and PTs up to this point we have been just like the school's two organizations sometimes doing the same things a lot X not financially we are separate after structures are separate volunteer structure everything is two separate organizations such as we have conversations this summer we started to think about what would that look like how would that be from zircons how would that benefit kids how would that benefit teachers to officer groups for on each side we met before school started for about two and a half hours one night and mailed out every detail from our bank store financing for events to our volunteers we went through everything of what does the current state look like compared to what could a future State look like together we left that meeting even talking about a new name how that stuff so with that conversation as a PCA we are part of an organization or sorry in association a bigger Association and organization our first thought was to dissolve as a PCA and become one PCL knowing that we already had a PTO structure in the district through the elementary they already have the name established the bank account established proposed two more absorb as one and change our current names as a peach arrive and start fresh with this new bank account new EIN number all of that information we could change it into something new with what week Christian Elementary PTO you're going to discuss the possibility of these two teams in our game Andy Greenwald on the leadership team Tri-City Elementary and one that didn't have a kid in Monroe anymore and so the more and more we talked in the more we talked with our groups individually we came to a consensus that it would make the most sense to move Barbie you officially we were going to change our name they were going to dissolve their PTA status we were going to absorb Monroe as a school within our organizational area for the boats will be adequately represented within our leadership team so they voted to essentially dissolve and move forward with joining us we voted to change our name to the Prairie City Monroe Elementary parent teacher organization is basically allow that to happen and we are moving forward with all of our business business and to be filing and all of that stuff at this point between our two current location does every other month same time same place and we will be voting to basically change our leadership team so that half of the team is represented by the roadside half of it's probably going to be our goal is not necessarily. because one of the things we discussed is the end up being a president place and then to ex-presidents one umbrella current Monroe Karen of current city Karen and then we don't really care what you and then you're on your way or every other your basis depending on how long that person is going to start so we are building that structure in at our next meeting which will officially allowed to change our signees change our filing for the last time and it made more sense for us to absorb and RSD as is so that we wouldn't have to go through the paperwork and everything to basically get our nonprofit status for a whole new organization together that's kind of where we are meeting that are currently born and it was discussed among the leadership before we are going to be I will be a vice president vice president at Monroe so near president or the Monroe side moving forward and working will continue to be the treasurer recap of just the value that we saw the biggest takeaways were historically a handful of moms find themselves to the count day in and day out doing all the events this may be the same seven women over and over and over and over and over all year long until they were finally done and then someone else comes to the same thing being able to combine our volunteer groups find our finances even consolidate our event running two huge events at two different times during the same thing we cannot make that one big event certain to the kids are the future family fun night one of our biggest events of the year in one location that housed all them and then we have parents even comparing them of how they differ this one better than the other we can go away from that so as far as the future what we saw as being probably the best that we don't know if y'all ementary the right b a lifespan of our children being there or not but we can also parents that start in Monroe I know that even when their kid moves to 4th and 5th grade they can still be part of the same and so as far as I can go over any transition their students are provided for employee in our communities are already done for our forward with a fun run which was coming at the end of the month I'd almost you would have people sign up from school so it's a nice thing and everybody feel adequately represented between artwork and both of our organizations have been very positive thank you guys another example next. seen people just order when they want to order and we're putting in Amazon orders couple times a day from some of that short up the credit card that really limited the number of cards we have in the district again all of that I do not because I ever ever thought anybody was misusing them at the building level it's just it makes a lot of paperwork on the backside of it and so we are only placing orders a couple times a month to Amazon people have to plan ahead and still be one in the district offices is there anything new a public purpose reminding her staff and then another area was the employee compensation for travel I just went back to review I'd only known that people ready to go to a meeting every just turn in the receipt but if you would go back and really review the policy that's not really supposed to be so adding that into our business I just want to share that with you that we are putting in place to make things right with her questions about that you've heard from Robert in the car which is the transportation report however on the State because they're having troubles extended the deadline for all districts so therefore I am expecting that we will we will not need that extension because we had to have everything done by the 29th without the extension with the Statewide extension so we have an extension if we can't meet the new deadline 7 we will have to go before the sprc and give them a corrective action plan but we already have it I would really I really do not want to have to do that so my hope is that we are ready to put down everything he's done chapter at the reporter so I run on social media and sometimes sporadically alright articles about her students but usually I don't do some pics and I don't have contact with one yet so I'm really behind and I'm a sophomore James Fairbanks and covid-19 or whatever I'm trying to Sloan I'm senior and I'm the Sentinel this year we wanted to start with the days until I go through each day at Nationals so we want to leave Tuesday October 25th I will take two suburbans 12th June for our competing ones an alternate is a girls or boys in broken out between one fresh one freshman five sophomores to Juniors and for seniors and then we'll depart from Monroe at 6:30 a.m. on 9 a.m. will get to the John Deere Pavilion in Illinois and then we have a fairy door at 1:45 and then at 2 or should last about two and a half hours and then we'll arrive at the hotel for the night Wednesday October 26th our food science contest is that day and while the four of us are at the contest the other students will attend workshops and then the career fair and we're hoping that will attend the first General Session that day and then we'll go to a pumpkin patch or corn and then that Thursday we're going to more student workshops. more General Sessions, noon that day has been friends award and then at night activities don't but not quite sure yet we are being friends right now of what stores are going to and then hoping that I will be going to the rodeo kind of depends on if we're going to the concert or the rodeo but I don't think we know I've looked into that too far quite a ticket open next week Saturday we will check out of the hotel room in a row and we will stop at the caterpillar bakkerij and museum in Peoria on the way home Bangkok G 8500 9000 okay so then we wanted to talk about kind of herb is like why do we want to send kids to National Nationals is a growing experience that gives you involved in a type of way after they usually doesn't when you go there you're surrounded by kids from all over the country new kids I have friends from Oklahoma Washington Oregon from last year I still talk to I have kids from Kansas South Dakota just kids I would never meet unless I win you attend numerous workshops so you learn a lot how to weed how to kind of like go out and it also just gets kids bonded with people within the chapter for example tri-polar we were best friends at the time last year and now we I say we don't go a day without talking but a few hours maybe if I have it but so which is a team competing at consist of me really behind Meredith different traveler we all did our own part in this but this my part mine was a lot of the numbers and math calculation so example there's three components to your find competition so there's your project development which is why we had to create a granola bar and so this just talk about like the budgeting you can see a recipe on that one but other two parts one is a food sensory and evaluation so that's like a sense so this was the 10th we had $2,000 donated from a business in Des Moines County roofing they've done a few of the schools my dad works at these were $150 and it's essential oils
