Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the PCM Community School District website. We hope that the information and links that you find here will be helpful in getting to know our school, finding information, and completing necessary tasks. While we strive to keep information updated and relevant, please let us know if you have questions or need assistance.

I am serving as the interim superintendent for our district this year, having previously served as superintendent in Fairfield for three years, Indianola for eight years, and Cedar Rapids as an interim. I began teaching and coaching in 1988 and have served in a variety of roles and several different districts through the decades. I believe in the value of public education and the power of community support for schools. I will work hard to support students, families, and staff this year and hope that we will all embody “Excellence for All, Excellence from All.”

PCM Community School District is an excellent school district, and we appreciate the support of its communities. As we work to ensure that teaching and learning in the district occurs in safe, encouraging, and respectful environments, we appreciate your help and support. This will be a year of transition with new grade alignment and the hiring of a permanent superintendent. I will do my best to make it a smooth and productive transition year.
