Meet Your School Board Members
Lori Jungling
District 1
Lori is a PCM mom and a substitute teacher for our District. She graduated from Wellsburg-Steamboat High School and the University of Northern Iowa. Lori is involved in the Prairie City Christian Reformed Church and enjoys camping and politics. She and her husband Jay spend their free time following their children Klaire, Jack, and Jodi’s many activities at PCM. She joined the School Board to get involved in the future of PCM.
Scott Grass
District 2
Scott, who holds trade degrees in brick laying and construction, is a local farmer. He and his wife Amy are parents to PCM Middle School student Grady who keeps them busy with all his sporting activities. In his free time Scott likes to golf and show cattle. “I became a School Board member because I wanted to be able to help keep a strong District and be a helping hand in making decisions to keep the District running great!”
Dr. Greg Ingle
District 3
Greg, a graduate of Prairie City, Simpson College, and Des Moines University, is a family physician. He and his wife Margaret raised three children in the PCM District, Melody Burkman, Derek Ingle, and Devon Ingle and have seven grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys reading, woodworking, speaking at church, and teaching. Greg also serves as an Elder at his church. He became a School Board member to “further the education development of our children and grandchildren ensuring our traditional values.”
Rod De Haai
District 4
Board Vice President
Rod, a graduate from Monroe High School and Central College, is the Vice President of Operations at Midwest Heritage Insurance. A PCM dad, he spends his free time golfing and taking vacations with his wife Cathy, son Parker, and daughter Lucy. “I enjoy serving the PCM District to help create better opportunities for our kids.”
Leslie Duinink
District 5
Leslie, a graduate of Monroe High School, Central College, and Indiana State University, is the Registrar and an Associate Professor of Kinesiology at Central College. Leslie lives in Monroe with her husband Greg and daughter RaeAnn who will graduate from PCM in May 2023. In her free time, Leslie enjoys gardening, sewing, and reading. “I ran for PCM School Board because it was an opportunity to serve my community.”
Ryan Van Der Kamp
District 6
Board President
Ryan, a PCM graduate, is a self-employed electrician and the Prairie City Fire Chief. Ryan joined the School Board so he could help the District. He and his wife Ann have two daughters, PCM students Abby and Alli, and enjoy boating and watching their daughters play sports.
Steve Nearmyer
District 7
Steve was originally recruited to become a School Board member but decided to stay on after his first term. A local farmer, Steve enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife Jenny and daughters Kelsey Adams and Kaylee Siebrecht and their families.
