Proposed Tax Rate

In accordance with Iowa law, the Board of Education adopts an annual budget following the required public notice and hearing process for all funds, except blended component units, internal service funds, and trust and agency funds. The budget may be amended throughout the year using the same legally required procedures. Iowa school districts prepare budgets using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
